A96 Between Huntly and Keith | Overnight Woodland Management
Amey is undertaking a programme of overnight woodland management at several locations along the A96 between Huntly and Keith until January 2027.
The £295,000 project, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, will trim and remove areas of woodland adjacent to the A96 for the safety of the travelling public and to improve driver visibility.
Traffic management
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be carried out under temporary traffic lights between 6.30pm and 6.30am on weeknights only. Traffic management will be removed during the daytime.
