A95 approaching Charlestown of Aberlour

Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the northbound A95 approaching Charlestown of Aberlour from Sunday 13th September to Friday 18th September.

The £185,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will resurface approximately 500 metres of both directions of the A95 carriageway.

Work will take place between the A95 junctions with Dowans Road and Ruthrie Road.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight convoy between 7.30pm and 6.30am.

Ruthrie Road will be closed during the works, with access to the A95 still available via Dowans Road.

The works are scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Friday 18th September.

Please be aware that there may be delays of up to four minutes when the overnight convoy is in place.

The resurfacing will benefit more than 2,500 road users who travel this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
