A95 Cromdale In Strathspey | Traffic Signal Refurbishment Works
Amey is undertaking work to refurbish the traffic signals on the A95 at the Burn of Cromdale Bridge from Monday 6th July to Friday 17th July.
The £95,000 project, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, will install more modern equipment to provide greater energy efficiency.
The existing traffic lights are approaching the end of their working life and the new system will ensure continued road safety by delivering improved reliability and reduced maintenance requirements for several years.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will take place under temporary traffic lights. The temporary traffic lights will remain in place 24/7 until works are complete. The works will take place on site on weekdays between 8am and 5pm.
These works will improve safety and reliability for the 3,000 road users who travel the route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
