A95 Ballindalloch | Refurbishment
Amey is undertaking a £450,000 refurbishment to the A95 Bridge of Avon at Ballindalloch in Moray between Sunday 11th May and Friday 25th July.
The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, is required to maintain the safety and integrity of the bridge.
Work will include resurfacing of the carriageway, replacement of the bridge deck waterproofing and replacement of the bridge expansion joints.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the refurbishment will be carried out under 24/7 temporary traffic lights on the bridge for the duration of the works.
The lane closures will alternate between lanes on the A95 Bridge of Avon as work progresses.
Refurbishment work will be carried out during daytime only but, due to the nature of the works, the temporary traffic lights are required to be in place 24/7.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
