A92 St Fort | Inspection Works

A92 St Fort
20th of September 2025, 7:30pm to 21st of September 2025, 6:00am

Amey is undertaking overnight inspections of a rail bridge on the A92 in North East Fife next to Moffat and Williamson’s St Fort bus depot on Saturday 20th September.

The inspection, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, is required to understand the current condition of the bridge.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the inspection will be carried out under an overnight road closure of the A92 in both directions between the A913 Cupar junction and Forgan Roundabout from 7.30pm to 6.30am.

The following diversions will be in place.

Northbound traffic can exit the A92 at the A913 Cupar junction and continue on the A913 until reaching Cupar. They can then turn left onto the A91 and follow the route Guardbridge where they can turn left onto the A919. Traffic can then continue onto the A914 and where they can rejoin the A92 at Forgan Roundabout. Southbound traffic can follow this route in reverse.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
