A92 East Dock Street in Dundee | Traffic Signal Upgrade
Amey is undertaking overnight work to upgrade traffic signals on the A92 at East Dock Street in Dundee between Monday 16th March and Saturday 28th March.
The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland will take place at the signalised junction at the public entrance to Gallagher Retail Park.
The existing traffic lights are approaching the end of their working life and the new system will ensure continued road safety by delivering improved reliability and reduced maintenance requirements for several years.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using overnight lane restrictions on East Dock Street on weeknights only between 7.30pm and 6am.
Traffic movements east and west on A92 East Dock Street will be maintained during the work period.
There will also be a need to close the junction to the retail park from 9pm each night. Work will commence once it has been confirmed Gallagher Retail Park car park is empty.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
