A92 in Dundee | Investigation Work
Amey is undertaking overnight pavement investigations on the A92 in Dundee at East Dock Street, Broughty Ferry Road and Greendykes Road between Monday 22nd June and Wednesday 8th July.
Working on behalf of Transport Scotland, Amey will carry out the pavement investigations across two phases of overnight closures between Scott Fyffe Roundabout and East Marketgait.
These investigations will support the development of future carriageway maintenance plans for the area. To make best use of the closures, Amey will also complete cyclic and routine maintenance activities during the same periods, reducing the need for additional visits and minimising future disruption.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the overnight closures will take place between 8pm and 6.30am each night. All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Wednesday 8th July.
The investigations will be carried out as follows:
Phase One: Monday 22nd June to Friday 26th June
Overnight closures of A92 Greendykes Road in both directions.
Phase 2: Monday 6th July to Tuesday 7th July
Overnight closures of A92 Greendykes Road in both directions.
Overnight closures of A92 East Dock Street westbound.
Overnight restriction of A92 East Dock Street lane 2 eastbound.
