SCHEME EXTENSION (25/10/24): Resurfacing on the A92 westbound carriageway at Chapel Junction at Kirkcaldy.
There will be three additional nights of work to complete the scheme on Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th October.

Work is due to be completed by 6.30am on Thursday 31st October.
Amey is undertaking surfacing improvements on the A92 westbound carriageway at Kirkcaldy from Tuesday 15th October to Friday 25th October.
The £456,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will address defects on more than 1600 metres of the A92 westbound at Chapel Junction, including both the on and off slips.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out using a combination of overnight road closures and convoy working between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night. There will be no overnight work on Saturday 19th October.
On Tuesday 15th October, the A92 westbound will be closed at Chapel Junction and traffic will be diverted using the westbound off and on slip roads, managed by using a convoy system.
For the remaining nights, one lane of the A92 westbound will remain open through Chapel Junction and traffic will be managed using a convoy system.
The A92 westbound off slip road at Chapel Junction will be closed during the convoy working. Westbound traffic will be diverted along the A92 to Lochgelly Junction where they can turn and rejoin the A92 eastbound and exit via the Chapel Junction eastbound off slip road.
The A92 westbound on slip road at Chapel Junction will also be closed during the convoy operations. Traffic will be diverted along the A92 eastbound at Chapel Junction to Redhouse Roundabout, where they can turn and rejoin the A92 westbound.
The resurfacing will benefit more than 10,500 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
