A90 Westbound Dundee And Longforgan | Resurfacing Works
Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the A90 westbound between Dundee and Longforgan from Sunday 22nd February to Sunday 1st March.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will involve resurfacing of approximately 1345 metres of the A90 westbound carriageway.
Work will take place from 80 metres west of the BP garage to 700 metres before the Longforgan off slip.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight convoy working between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.
There will be no overnight work on Friday 27th February and Saturday 28th February.
There will also be a daytime lane 1 restriction on the A90 westbound on Monday 23rd February from 6:30am to 7.30pm. Access to the BP garage will be maintained at all times.
All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Sunday 1st March.
Please be aware that there may be delays of up to six minutes when the overnight convoy is in place.
The resurfacing will benefit more than 40,300 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
