A90 Northbound to the North of Forfar | Overnight Resurfacing
Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the A90 northbound to the north of Forfar from Sunday 8th March to Saturday 14th March.
The £225,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will resurface approximately 470 metres of the northbound A90 carriageway.
Work will take place from 425 metres north of the Bogindollo junction to 45 metres north of the layby.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential works will be carried out under overnight convoy working between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.
Please note that the layby within the scheme extents will be restricted for the duration of the works.
Please be aware that there may be delays of up to six minutes when the overnight convoy is in place.
The resurfacing will benefit more than 21,100 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother and safer ride for motorists.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
