A90 Northbound Binn Hill To Kinfauns | Overnight Surfacing Improvements
Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the A90 northbound between Binn Hill and Kinfauns from Thursday 21st May to Friday 29th May, with an additional night of work on Wednesday 10th June.
The £470,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will resurface approximately 1,400 metres of the carriageway.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential works will be carried out under a rolling programme of overnight traffic management, including lane restrictions and convoy working.
The rolling programme is scheduled to take place as follows:
Thursday 21st May (7.30pm to 6.30am) – Overnight closure of lane one to accommodate preparatory works.
Sunday 24th May to Friday 29th May (7.30pm to 6.30am) – Overnight convoy.
Wednesday 10th June (7.30pm to 6.30am) – Overnight convoy.
The resurfacing will benefit more than 18,000 road users who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
