A90 North West of Crimond | Drainage Remediation

Lonmay/Crimond
4th of May 2026, 8:00am to 29th of May 2026, 6:00pm

Amey is carrying out drainage remediation on the A90 northbound between Lonmay and Crimond from Monday 4th May to Friday 29th May.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be carried out under a daytime lane restriction between 8am and 6pm. Traffic will be managed by traffic lights on the A90 and at the A90 junction with the B9033 to allow vehicles to pass safely through the scheme.

The essential works will increase overall safety and reduce flooding on the carriageway for more than 5,800 motorists who use this route each day.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
