A90 Near Toll of Birness | Overnight Road Safety Improvements
Amey is undertaking overnight road safety improvements on the A90 in Aberdeenshire near Toll of Birness junction from Sunday 27th September to Saturday 24th October.
The £200,000 upgrade, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will take place on approximately 2km of the A90 northbound from the A952 Toll of Birness Junction to a point 200m west of MacDonald Cottage.
The project will upgrade roadside safety barriers and traffic signs along the route, improving safety for more than 7,700 vehicles that use this section of the A90 each day.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be carried under temporary traffic lights from 7.30pm to 5am on Sunday to Thursday nights.
Please note that all works are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if conditions are not favourable.
