A90 Near Swallow Roundabout At Dundee
13th of September 2026, 7:30pm to 25th of September 2026, 6:30am

Amey is undertaking essential overnight drainage investigations on the A90 near Dundee between Arbuckle's Farm and Swallow Roundabout from Sunday 13th September until Friday 25th September.

The overnight investigations, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will gather vital information to support the design of future drainage improvements along this section of the A90, improving road safety and reducing the likelihood of flooding affecting the route.

Investigations will be carried out on both the northbound and southbound carriageways, including the nearside verges and central reserve.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be undertaken using overnight lane restrictions on both carriageways between 7.30pm and 6.30am on Sunday to Thursday nights.

Some investigation activities will take place at local access roads adjoining the A90. Where this is required, accesses may be temporarily closed for short periods of up to one hour. If access is required during these periods, work will be paused and vehicles will be escorted safely through the site.

All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Friday 25th September.

Please note that all works are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if conditions are not favourable.
