A90 Near Drumlithie | Overnight Resurfacing
Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the A90 southbound near Drumlithie in Aberdeenshire from Sunday 18th January to Wednesday 28th January.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will resurface more than 300 metres of the A90 southbound carriageway.
Work will take place from approximately 310 metres prior to Bervie Water Bridge to Bervie Water Bridge itself.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight convoy between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.
During the overnight work traffic for Arbuthnot/Inverbervie should continue southbound on the A90 and then turn left onto the B967 to Parkneuk.
No overnight work will take place Friday 23rd January and Saturday 24th January. All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Wednesday 28th January.
Please be aware that there may be delays of up to 4 minutes when the overnight convoy is in place.
The resurfacing will benefit more than 9,960 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
