A90 Linlathen Underpass In Dundee | Drainage Improvements
Amey is undertaking drainage improvements on the A90 Linlathen Underpass in Caird Park in Dundee between Monday 15th June and Friday 24th July.
The pedestrian tunnel beneath the A90 Forfar road, which connects Caird Park to Morrisons supermarket, has experience repeated flooding during periods of heavy rainfall.
The £222,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will enhance the performance of the drainage system to help alleviate flooding in the area.
These works will take place overnight between 7.30pm and 6.30am. Pedestrians will not be able to access the underpass during the works and can use an alternative route via Afton Way if approaching from the east and via Forfar Road if approaching from the west.
There will be no traffic management required on the mainline A90 trunk road during the works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
