A90 Kingsway at Strathmartin and Old Glamis Road Roundabouts | Overnight Closures
Amey is undertaking overnight retexturing work on Strathmartine Road Roundabout and Old Glamis Road Roundabout on the A90 Kingsway in Dundee on Thursday 18th September and Friday 19th September.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will restore the surface texture and improve skid resistance on the entire carriageway of each roundabout surface, benefitting more than 43,600 motorists who use this route each day.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight road closures between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night as follows:
- Thursday 18th September: Strathmartine Road Roundabout.
- Friday 19th September: Glamis Road Roundabout.
Each location is expected to be completed within a single night, with work finished by 6.30am on Saturday 20th September.
The following diversions will be in place:
Strathmartine Roundabout closure: Westbound traffic will be diverted off the A90 at Old Glamis Road Roundabout south along Old Glamis Road. They can then turn right at Clepington Road and continue onto the B960 to rejoin the A90. Eastbound traffic can follow this route in reverse.
Old Glamis Road Roundabout closure: Westbound traffic will be diverted off the A90 at the Forfar Road junction onto the A929. They can turn right onto Clepington Road and then right at Strathmartine Road to rejoin the A90 at Strathmartine Road Roundabout. Eastbound traffic can follow this route in reverse.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
