A90 Kingsway Northbound Carriageway at Charlotte Street | Road Safety Improvements
Amey is undertaking overnight road safety works on the A90 Kingsway northbound carriageway at Charlotte Street on Tuesday 21st April.
The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland will install traffic loops to monitor traffic volume and flow. These works will improve road safety and provide greater efficiency of the traffic management systems on the carriageway.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential works will be carried out under an overnight closure of the northbound carriageway between just after the Macalpine Road off slip to Bank Avenue. To minimise disruption, work will take place between 8pm and 6am.
During the closure, A90 northbound traffic will be diverted off the carriageway at Clepington Road roundabout, heading southwest on Clepington Road and joining Strathmartine Road before heading north and rejoining the carriageway at the Strathmartine Road roundabout.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
