A90 Inchture | Drainage Improvements
Amey is undertaking drainage improvements on the A90 southbound carriageway at Inchture from Tuesday 22nd April to Friday 16th May.
The £250,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will renew the filter drain between the A90 southbound on slip at Inchture and Middlebank Farm.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under daytime lane one closures between 9.30am and 3.30pm on weekdays.
Work will be phased to allow access to the bus stop layby near Inchmartine Farm.
When works are being undertaken on the bus stop layby itself, the bus stop will be closed, with a temporary bus stop formed at a layby further southbound within the lane one closure.
Highway operatives will be on site to assist pedestrians through the works to the bus stop.
The essential works will increase overall safety and reduce flooding on the carriageway for more than 34,200 motorists who use this route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
