A90 Fraserburgh Town Centre | Traffic Signal Upgrade
Amey is undertaking work to upgrade traffic signals in Fraserburgh town centre at the Saltoun Place/Victoria Street junction between Monday 20th April and Friday 1st May.
The existing traffic lights are approaching the end of their working life and the new system will ensure continued road safety by delivering improved reliability and reduced maintenance requirements for several years.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using temporary traffic lights and lane restrictions between 9am and 7pm on weekdays only.
The temporary traffic lights will be on each arm of the junction with traffic still able to access each arm.
The temporary traffic lights will remain in place 24/7 until the new signals are fully installed, with the lane restrictions only required during the day when work is taking place.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
