A90 Fraserburgh | Temporary Traffic Lights
New 20mph speed limit signage designed to support safer travel will be installed at two locations on the A90 in Fraserburgh on Monday 28th September and Tuesday 29th September.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will see the implementation of vehicle-activated signs on Saltoun Place and Maconochie Road.
The new signs will help encourage compliance with the 20mph limits and support safer journeys for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be undertaken using temporary traffic lights between 9am and 5pm.
The signage will help deliver Transport Scotland's National 20mph Speed Limit Strategy, which aims to reduce road collisions and their severity by lowering speed limits to 20mph in appropriate urban areas.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
