A90 Fraserburgh | Overnight Roadworks

Fraserburgh
14th of August 2025, 8:00pm to 17th of August 2025, 6:00am

Amey is undertaking essential overnight maintenance work at Fraserburgh Roundabout on the A90 over two nights on Thursday 14th August and Sunday 17th August.

The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carried out under overnight road closures to ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists.

Work will take place on approximately 595 metres of the A90 carriageway, from Duthie Place to 245 metres south of the roundabout and include the roundabout circulatory.

The overnight road closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am on both Thursday 14th August and Sunday 17th August.

The following diversions will be in place during the overnight road closures.

Northbound traffic can leave the A90 at the B9032 for New Aberdour and follow the route to Memsie, where they can turn right onto the A981 and continue to Fraserburgh. Southbound traffic can follow the route in reverse. The diversion route will require three minutes additional journey time.
