A90 Forfar Road in Dundee
30th of January 2026, 7:30pm to 20th of February 2026, 6:30am

Amey is undertaking overnight work to upgrade traffic signals on the A90 Forfar Road in Dundee between Friday 30th January and Friday 20th February.

The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland will take place at the A90 Forfar Road’s junction with Claverhouse Road and Fountainbleau Drive.

The existing traffic lights are approaching the end of their working life and the new system will ensure continued road safety by delivering improved reliability and reduced maintenance requirements for several years.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using overnight lane restrictions on weeknights only between 7.30pm and 6.30am.

There will also be a need to close slip roads at this junction on occasion as work necessitates. Signed local diversions will be in place via Claverhouse Roundabout and via Fountainbleau Drive/Pitkerro Road/Kingsway East when required.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
