A90 Bullionfield West of Dundee| Drainage Improvement
Amey is carrying out drainage improvements on the A90 at Bullionfield to the west of Dundee which are scheduled to be completed by Friday 3rd July.
Investigations have taken place to establish both the route of an uncharted drainage system and the position of a nearby gas main.
With this work now complete and a safe method of working agreed with SGN, the drainage improvements began on Monday 18th May under the lane one restriction traffic management which is currently in place.
The programme, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will include installing a dual drain and reinstating the damaged carriageway, with work scheduled to take around six weeks.
Two overnight closures of the Invergowrie on‑slip to the A90 will be in place on Tuesday 19th May and Wednesday 20th May, between 7.30pm and 6.30am, as part of the work.
Invergowrie traffic for the A90 westbound can follow Main Street to its junction with Riverside Avenue, taking the first left to follow the route to Swallow Roundabout where they can join the A90.
The drainage improvements will benefit more than 32,200 vehicles who use this route each day.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
