A90 Brechin | Overnight Lane Restrictions | Essential Maintenance
Amey is undertaking drainage remediation on the A90 southbound at Brechin between Monday 12th January and Saturday 24th January.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will take place on the A90 southbound between 200 metres east of the B966 Keithock junction and one kilometre west of the A935 St. Ann’s Junction.
The work will complement carriageway maintenance and drainage remediation undertaken on the A90 northbound in late 2025. Drainage remediation on the A90 southbound was postponed until 2026 due to the impact of adverse weather.
The drainage remediation will correct existing defects and enhance overall performance. These interventions are necessary to stabilise current conditions and reduce the risk of further deterioration.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight lane restrictions on the A90 southbound between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
All slip roads at both St. Anns and Keithock junctions will remain open throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
