A90 Between Kinfauns And St Madoes | Drainage Works

Kinfauns/St Madoes
20th of July 2026, 7:30pm to 28th of August 2026, 6:30am

Amey is carrying out overnight drainage works on the A90 from Kinfauns Junction to St Madoes from Monday 20th July to Friday 28th August.

The £330,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland will replace approximately 2,000 metres of filter drain material to improve drainage and safety.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be carried out under an overnight lane restriction between 7.30pm and 6.30am on weekdays only.

In order to complete works on both the central reserve and verges, the restricted lane will change throughout the scheme.

The essential works will increase overall safety and reduce flooding on the carriageway for more than 34,000 motorists who use this route each day.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
