A90 Between Ellon And Fraserburgh | Lining And Studding Improvements

Ellon/Fraserburgh
20th of July 2026, 8:00am to 17th of August 2026, 5:00pm

Amey is undertaking lining and stud improvements on the A90 between Ellon and Fraserburgh from Monday 20th July to Monday 17th August.

The £260,000 scheme, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland will enhance line and road visibility for motorists, helping to improve safety for all road users.

The works will be undertaken in phases, moving progressively along the route between Ellon North Roundabout and Fraserburgh Roundabout. Road users are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow additional travel time where necessary.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, works will take place under a weekday Stop/Go system, in place between 8am and 5pm.

All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are unfavourable.
