A9 West Of Dunblane | Investigation Works
Amey is undertaking overnight road safety investigations on the A9 west of Dunblane from Sunday 1st November to Thursday 5th November.
The work is required to understand the current condition of a section of the road safety barriers on the A9 southbound at Old Doune Road, west of Dunblane.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be carried out under overnight lane 1 restrictions on the southbound carriageway between 7.30pm and 6.30am. A 50mph speed restriction will also be in place.
The investigations will provide information to help plan future improvements, supporting safer and more reliable journeys for more than 17,000 drivers who use this route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
