A9 Slip Road At Charleston | Maintenance Works
Amey is undertaking essential maintenance work on the A9 southbound on slip at the village of Charleston, north of Inverness, from Tuesday 30th September to Sunday 19th October.
The work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will see the removal of a redundant video monitoring system and construction of a new CCTV mast at the on slip.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken under overnight closures of the A9 southbound on slip between 8pm and 6am each night.
Traffic from Charleston looking to use the A9 southbound on slip can travel north on the A9 to Tore Roundabout where they can then access the A9 southbound.
