A9 Northbound North Of Dunblane | Resurfacing
Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the A9 northbound north of Dunblane from Sunday 15th March to Saturday 21st March.
The £250,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will surface approximately 2,100 metres of the northbound A9 carriageway between Glassingall and Dunblane.
Work will take place from 468 metres beyond the B8033 northbound onslip to 113 metres before the entrance to Firs of Kinbuck.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential works will be carried out under an overnight lane one restriction between 7.30pm and 6.30am on Sunday 15th March, with overnight convoy working between 7.30pm and 6.30am for the remainder of the works.
All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Saturday 21st March.
Please be aware that there may be delays of up to 9 minutes in the first hour of the working night and delays of up to 4 minutes for the rest of the working night when the overnight convoy is in place.
The works will improve road safety for more than 14,000 motorists who use the road each day.
All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
