A9 at Dunfallandy, Pitlochry | Drainage Investigation Works

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland will be carrying out essential drainage investigation works on the A9 at Dunfallandy, immediately north of the Pitlochry south junction, with works planned to commence on Tuesday 12 May.

Works will be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm each working day, and the investigation is expected to be completed by Thursday 14 May.

To protect the workforce and road users, temporary traffic lights will be in place. These will be removed out with working hours.

Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Design Manager said; “These essential works will provide valuable information about the drainage system and clear any blockages within.

“Our teams will carry out the investigation safely and efficiently. We thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these essential works.

“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
