A9 Dualling Tomatin to Moy | Overnight Traffic Management
Overnight temporary traffic signals and a short lane closure will be in operation on the A9 at the Lynebeg realignment from 19:30 on Thursday 26 February until 06:00 on Friday 27 February. These traffic signals will be manned at all times to manage traffic flow and will allow for these essential winter maintenance works to safely take place on the A9 carriageway.
Road users should note that the temporary traffic signals already in place to support ongoing planned works in the Tomatin area will also remain in place and operational on Thursday 26 February. Therefore, two sets of traffic signals will be encountered while these essential maintenance works are ongoing.
These works, and the associated traffic management measures, are essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce, as activities will be carried out close to live traffic on the A9.
Delays are expected to be minimal, with works taking place overnight, however, both sets of signals will be manned at all times to help manage traffic flow and minimise disruption.
Pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained at all times.
