A9 Cairnie Bares | Drainage Improvements
Amey is undertaking drainage improvements on the A9 northbound Cairnie Brae layby, running 1.5km north from Monday 16th June to Friday 25th July.
The £260,000 worth of improvements will include drainage works that will reduce flooding risks and improve overall safety for over 6990 daily road users.
Works will take weekdays from 7.30pm to 6.30am.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, improvements will take place under lane 1 northbound closures for the first 5 weeks of work.
For the remainder of the works, improvements will take place under shifting lane 2 northbound, lane 1 southbound and lane 2 southbound closures.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
