A9 Allan Water Bridge at Dunblane | Structural Investigations

A9 Allan Water Bridge, Dunblane
2nd of June 2026, 7:30pm to 6th of June 2026, 6:30am
A9 Allan Water Bridge at Dunblane

Amey is undertaking overnight investigations on Allan Water Bridge on the A9 at Dunblane between Tuesday 2nd June and Saturday 6th June.

The investigations are required to understand the existing condition of the structure in advance of any deck refurbishment work being undertaken.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using overnight lane closures on both the A9 northbound and southbound carriageways at Allan Water Bridge between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.

Unfortunately, some noise will occur during these works and Amey are working to programme operations to minimise any disturbance as much as possible.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
