A898 Erskine Bridge | Cable Maintenance
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential cable anchorage chamber maintenance on the A898 Erskine Bridge from 8pm on Monday 28th September until 6am on Tuesday 29th September 2026.
During these works, overnight lane closures on the Erskine Bridge in both directions will be required, as well as overnight closures of the southbound A898 on slip from A82 Great Western Road.
During the overnight slip closures, traffic will be diverted via the southbound A82, Mountblow Road, the northbound A82 and the southbound A898.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
