A876 Southbound Kilbagie - Higgins Neuk Roundabout | Carriageway Repairs

Kilbagie/Higgins Neuk
13th of February 2026, 7:30pm to 14th of February 2026, 6:00am

The southbound carriageway of the A876 over the Clackmannanshire Bridge between Kilbagie Roundabout and Higgins Neuk Roundabout will be closed for carriageway repairs between 19:30 and 06:00 on the night of Friday 13 February.

A diversion route will be signposted via the A977, North Approach Road and A985 Kincardine Bridge. This will add approximately 2 minutes and 0.3 miles to affected journeys.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Relevant stakeholders have been consulted in advance to make them aware of the plans.

Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “It’s essential for safety that we close the southbound carriageway of the A876 while these repairs are completed.

“We’ll do this at night and the diversion is relatively short, so we do not expect this to cause any significant disruption.”

All works are weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
