A85 Dunira West Of Comrie | Carriageway Improvements

Dunira West Of Comrie
14th of April 2026, 7:00pm to 16th of April 2026, 6:00am

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential carriageway improvements on the A85 Dunira, 1 mile west of Comrie, for two nights between Tuesday 14 and Thursday 16 April 2026.

To ensure the safety of all road users, an overnight road closure between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 will be in place each night, with hourly amnesties in place to allow vehicles to be escorted safely through the works under a 10mph convoy.

Traffic management measures will be removed outside of working hours; however, temporary speed restrictions will remain in place for the duration of the works as traffic will be running on a temporary surface without road markings.

Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Planned Maintenance Manager said: “These works will help restore the condition of the road surface of this section of the A85 to improve driving conditions.

“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly and safely. We extend our gratitude to the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.

“To minimise delays, we recommend that road users plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
