A85 Crianlarich | Footway Improvement Works
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out footway improvements on the A85 in Crianlarich from Monday 28 September. This will involve the resurfacing of the footway from the A85 railway bridge to the A85/A82 roundabout at the north end of the village.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm and will be complete on Friday 16 October. No works will take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
To ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public, temporary traffic lights and footway closures with diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.
Access for emergency services and scheduled bus services will be maintained for the full duration of the works.
Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders to inform them of the traffic management arrangements and minimise any inconvenience.
Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Design Manager, said: “These footway improvements on the A85 at Crianlarich will greatly improve the quality of the footway surface and increase the accessibility for all pedestrians.
“Our teams will carry out these works quickly, with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.”
