Works will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 7pm each day under a 10mph convoy with two-way temporary traffic lights. Outwith these hours, traffic management will be removed however, a 30mph speed limit will remain in place as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface.
The surfacing improvements are expected to be completed by the evening of Friday 13 June and no works will take place on Saturdays or Sundays.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said “These essential resurfacing works will fix existing defects, making the road more durable and resilient against inclement weather. We thank road users for their patience ahead of these road improvements.”
