A85 Between Crieff and Comrie
9th of December 2025, 7:00pm to 12th of December 2025, 6:00am

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out 3 nights of essential carriageway improvements on the A85 between Crieff and Comrie, near Monzievaird Village Hall, from Tuesday 9 December.

The works will take place between 19:00 and 06:00 each night and will be completed by Friday 12 December.

To protect road users and the workforce, an overnight road closure will be in place throughout the works, with hourly amnesties provided from 7pm till 6am, to allow waiting vehicles to be escorted safely through the site under a 10mph convoy.

Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “This crucial surfacing project on the A85 will fix existing defects and significantly enhance the driving experience for all motorists.
“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly, with safety as our top priority. We thank the local community and road users for their patience.
“To minimise delays, we recommend that road users plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
