A835 at Loch Garve | Short Closure

A835 at Loch Garve
15th of July 2026, 12:00am to 15th of July 2026, 12:10am

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are currently undertaking works to replace the retaining wall and install new safety barriers on the A835 at Loch Garve, a mile south of Garve. Due to damage to the existing retaining wall and safety barriers, temporary traffic lights and a lane closure have been in place.

On the night of Tuesday 14 July, a pothole repair in the open northbound lane is required to be fixed. Due to the nature of the works, a full 10-minute closure of the A835 will be implemented at midnight to repair the pothole to reduce the impact on the travelling public.

Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
