A83 Inverary At Front Street | Drainage Works
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out essential drainage improvements on the A83 for five days.
Works are planned to take place between 8am and 4.30pm from the morning of Monday 27 April until the afternoon of Friday 1 May.
Due to the nature of the works and to protect road users and roadworkers, temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours. All traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Steve Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Design Manager said: “These drainage improvement works will help reduce instances of flooding on the A83 and provide a safer route for motorists using the carriageway.
“We thank the local community and road users for their patience while we complete these works. We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
