A82 West of the Erskine Bridge | Essential Investigations
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential investigations on the A82 southbound, between the Erskine Bridge and Dunglass Roundabout, from Friday 23rd October until Sunday 15th November 2026. To facilitate these works, single lane closures will be in place on weekend nights only (Friday and Saturday nights), between 8pm and 10am the following morning.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This work will provide valuable data and insights to support the development and planning of future road improvement works at this location, ultimately benefiting all road users who travel this route. Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
