A temporary lane closure is in place on the northbound carriageway of the A82 Stirling Road in Dumbarton due to emergency electricity network repairs.
SP Energy Networks has put in place the single lane closure – which runs for around 100m from beyond the junction with Glasgow Road, opposite Dumbuckhill Quarry – to allow safe access for engineers to excavate and repair an underground cable fault before reinstating the road surface.
The other lane remains open to traffic and the southbound carriageway is not affected.
Engineers will safely complete the works as quickly as possible, with the carriageway fully reinstated and the lane reopened by Monday 21 July at the latest.
SP Energy Networks apologises for any inconvenience caused.
