Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential maintenance work on the A82 between Lomondgate and Stoneymollan Roundabouts from Sunday 1st February until Sunday 22nd March 2026.

This work will require continuous 24-hour offside lane closures of the A82 in both directions in this location and a temporary barrier will be in place.

This work will also require overnight closures as follows:
A82 northbound & southbound closure – Sunday 1st February (8pm – 6am)
A82 southbound closure – Monday 2nd February (8pm – 6am)
A82 northbound closure – Tuesday 3rd February (8pm – 6am)
A82 northbound closure – Thursday 26th February, Friday 27th February and Saturday 28th February (8pm – 6am)
A82 northbound closure – Wednesday 11th March and Thursday 12th March (8pm – 6am)
A82 southbound closure – Friday 13th March and Saturday 14th March. (8pm – 6am)

Northbound A82 traffic will be diverted via Lomondgate Roundabout to the A813 Stirling Road and the A811 Lomond Road to Stoneymollan roundabout.

Southbound A82 traffic will follow the above diversion route in reverse.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will improve access to carry out necessary future maintenance works proposed along this route, which in turn, will improve the safety and condition of the route and ensuring it remains fit for purpose.

Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
