A82 Loch Tulla | Safety Improvements
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are carrying out road safety improvements on the A82 at Loch Tulla Cottages. From Sunday 3 August, the overnight works involve replacing safety barriers on the verges.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 7pm and 6am and are expected to be completed by the morning of Saturday 13 September.
To protect the workforce and road users, temporary traffic lights will be in place.
BEAR Scotland has been working with all relevant stakeholders to inform them of the project and share information about the traffic management arrangements that will be in place.
Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said, “These new safety barriers will help to protect drivers and ensure the continued safe operation of the A82.
“We’ll be working hard to complete the project quickly and safely. Please plan your journey in advance, especially if you are travelling between Tyndrum and Fort William.”
