UPDATE (11/03/2026): Due to adverse weather, filter drain recycling works on the A82 between Cameron Club and B832 Junction will be cancelled for the rest of this week. Works will resume on Monday 16 March until the morning of Saturday 4 April.

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential filter drain recycling works on the A82 between the Cameron Club Golf and Spa and the B832 Junction.

These works will take place between 7.30pm and 6am from the evening of Monday 23 February until the morning of Saturday 1 April for four weeks. No works will take place on Saturday or Sunday nights or the nights of Wednesday 11, Thursday 12 or Friday 13 March.

To protect road users and our operatives, temporary traffic lights will be operated each night on the A82, but these will be removed outwith working hours.

Steven Taylor, BEAR Scotland’s North West Planned Maintenance Manager said: “These filter drain recycling works will restore the integrity and capacity of the system associated with the A82, reducing the potential for carriageway flooding and providing a safer route for road users.”

“Our teams will carry out these works with safety as a top priority. We have programmed these works to take place overnight to reduce the impact on the travelling public, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance.”
