A82 and A898 at Dalnottar Interchange | Essential Maintenance

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking an essential package of maintenance works to eight structures on the A82 / A898 at Dalnottar Interchange from Monday 2nd March until Friday 20th March between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night in three phases.  

Phase 1: Monday 2nd March – Monday 9th March 
This phase will require overnight closures of the A898 southbound (Erskine Bridge) on-slip from the A82 eastbound. Traffic will be directed to continue on the A82 Great Western Road to Kilbowie Roundabout and join the A898 southbound via the A82 westbound on-slip. 

Phase 2: Tuesday 10th March & Wednesday 11th March 
This phase will require overnight closures of the A82 westbound on and off slips from the A814. Traffic for the on slip will be directed to continue on Station Road to the A82 eastbound on-slip and Kilbowie Roundabout to join the A82 westbound. Traffic wishing to use the off-slip will continue on the A82 westbound and exit at Dumbarton Road. 

Phase 3: Thursday 12th March – Friday 20th March 
This phase will require overnight closures of Station Road. Southbound traffic will be diverted via the A8 eastbound on-slip to Kilbowie Roundabout and will be able to take the A82 westbound off-slip to Station Road. Northbound access for residents to the north of Station Road will be maintained. 

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works. 

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable. 

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structures in this location.
