A8 Greenock | Essential Traffic Light Replacement
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential traffic signal replacements on the A8 at Ratho Street in Greenock, from Monday 23rd February until Friday 13th March 2026 between the hours of 9am and 3pm each weekday under single lane closures including full closure with no access to Ratho Street from the A8 trunk road. No works will take place on Saturdays or Sundays.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the safety of the carriageway in this location.
