A78 Warrix Interchange | Essential Investigation Works

Warrix Interchange
19th of July 2026, 8:00pm to 21st of July 2026, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential investigations on the A78 at Warrix Interchange from Sunday 19th July until Tuesday 21st July 2026 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will require an overnight closure of the A71 Westbound at Warrix Interchange on Sunday 19th July 2026 and the Eastbound carriageway on Monday 20th July 2026.

Westbound traffic will be diverted via the westbound A71, Greenwood Interchange, Long Drive, B7081 Annick Road and Milgarholm Roundabout.

Eastbound traffic will take this diversion route in reverse.

During this work, single lane closures on the A71 will be in operation.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by informing future works in this area.
Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
